Paskong Pinoy 2025

A Warm, Joyful Gathering of Families

The Christmas spirit came early for Espesyal Pinoy as families gathered on November 29, 2025 at the Springbloom Condominium function room for our annual Year-End Christmas Party. With around 80 percent of members in attendance, the room was filled with energy, laughter and the familiar warmth of a Filipino celebration away from home.

A Feast of Filipino Flavors

Members brought their best homemade dishes for a potluck spread featuring well-loved Filipino favorites. From classic party staples to treasured family recipes, the food table set the tone for a night of appreciation, sharing and community.

Games We Grew Up With

Nothing brings Filipinos together quite like the games we know by heart. The program included patintero, Chinese garter, Taboo and other fun challenges that had both children and adults cheering, running and laughing throughout the evening. The game prizes made the activities even more enjoyable. Members prepared humorous, themed bundles such as:

Kitchen Package featuring vegetables
Travel Around the World Package filled with hotel toiletries and travel sachets
Secrets of the Sakura Isles showcasing a ceremonial matcha set

These light-hearted prizes added a playful twist that everyone loved.

Gift-Giving, Filipino Style

The night would not be complete without the traditional exchange gifts. Families shared simple tokens as a symbol of generosity and connection, keeping alive a tradition that many grew up with back home.

Themes, Creativity and the David Family Spotlight

Each family arrived in a themed outfit, showcasing creativity and holiday cheer. While everyone brought their own unique flair, one family truly stood out — the David Family, whose coordinated look became the talk of the evening.

Eco-Friendly Decorations Done with Heart

This year’s celebration was made even more special with a commitment to sustainability. Decorations were thoughtfully crafted using recycled and natural materials, highlighted by the beautiful eco-tree created by Hera from tissue rolls, twine, mesh and lights. It stood as a symbol of creativity and resourcefulness, bringing joy to everyone who saw it.

We also want to recognize Heras steady leadership as the head of the Socials Committee for many years. Her consistency, persistence and eye for detail have shaped countless events and have played a big part in making our gatherings memorable and meaningful.

Kudos as well to the Socials Committee for the overall decoration setup and table skirting. Their teamwork transformed the function room into a festive and welcoming space that truly captured the spirit of the season.

Ending the Year with Smiles

As families shared food, stories, games and warm hugs, the gathering reaffirmed what Espesyal Pinoy stands for — community, support and celebrating life together. It was a wonderful way to close the year, surrounded by familiar faces and the shared journey of raising our beautiful children.

Here’s to another year of connection, compassion and hope for all our Espesyal Pinoy families.
